Doug Cooper’s Fantastic Pittsburgh

Interview with Pittsburgh muralist Doug Cooper on realization of Hilldancers, second short film in a series of live-action animations following Pinburgh.
Pinburgh’s innovative blend of analog and digital technique, combined with Cooper’s unique storytelling earned several film festival prizes and inclusion in the Black Maria Film Festival 2010 screenings around the country.
Shot in Pittsburgh Filmmakers’s greenscreen, both Hilldancers and Pinburgh are written, directed, drawn, and edited by Doug Cooper.
