Much has been made of the Mayan calendar's prediction that the end of time is December 21, 2012. In this show, work by regional printmakers employ printmaking processes (such as relief, intaglio, silkscreen, lithography, and monotype) to address this profound theme from an artist's point of view.  "As mortals we all face the inevitable end of ourselves in the world. As artists we have the power to create our own visions of what may lie ahead both for the world and ourselves." Juror John Caperton has curated 25 exhibitions for The Print Center (Philadelphia, PA) since 2007.
